- No substitutions are allowed once the official game has gone under way. But if the maximum number of players has not yet been reached, players could still join the game provided they do so within the 10-minute grace. In the event of a “violation”, it is the responsibility of the opposing team to make complaints on the spot (thru a representative or by broadcasting a message during the game), whereby upon confirmation, the offending party should promptly remove the violators (failure to do so will result in an automatic loss).
- To start the game, teams should hold a toss coin. The winner may choose which side will they play (Sentinel or Scourge) or they may choose to pick the first hero.
- Players are required to use their Sportsfest team color as their player-name or in a prefix-fashion (ex: “[Black] ANAKMATOY”). Failure to do so will result in the game server kicking them out of the game.
- In the event of a “no show” or if a “default” has been declared: - The losing team will get a score of zero for that match and its overall tally points will be deducted by
- In the event of a tie in the standings, Points System (points based on hero kills) will be applied. If rankings still can not be determined, Winner-Over-The-Other will be applied to determine the final ranking. In rare cases wherein a tie still occurs after implementing the two tie breaking system, a toss coin will be applied.
- Should conflicts arise, OFFICIALS HAVE THE LAST SAY.
Prelim Match Ups:
Due to so many players, we are having elimination games, each colored team can submit more than 1 team for their color BUT only the team with the highest record for that color will proceed to the next round. They may sub some of their players from that team that makes it to the next round but only to those players of the same color.
Match up dates will be determined by the 2 teams. They will be given a span of days on when to make the match. Failure to do the match on the span of days will result to forfeit. This match will be played in a best of 3 series.
2nd Round – final round
The preliminary matchup is created to set up the rankings. The 1st and 2nd team on the ranking have a twice to beat advantage. So on the finals, the first game would be played by the 1st and 2nd ranking, whoever wins gets to the waiting slot. The one who lost will go to the loser slot and will play the winner of the 3rd and 4th ranking, the loser will be eliminated. See flow below. All games will be played in a best of 3 series, in one playing day.
